RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF TWO SETS OF KEIKI
I.D. EQUIPMENT (CAMERA, LAMINATOR, AND DIE CUTTER) FROM THE CHEVRON
COMPANIES.
WHEREAS, the Chevron Companies, whose Coordinator is Dave Young,
has donated two sets of Keiki 1.D. equipment (camera, laminator i and die
cutter) to the Hawaii Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the equipment is three thousand
dollars ($3,000.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or
donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii
County Charter, the Hawaii Police Department is authorized to accept the
donation of Keiki I.D. equipment from The ,Chevron Companies.

Dear Mr. Young:
On behalf of the Hawaii County Council, I would like to personally thank you and the
Chevron Companies for the gracious donation of two sets ofKeiki J.D. equipment
consisting of a camera, laminator, and die cutter valued at three thousand dollars
($3000.00) to be designated for use by the Hawaii County Community Policing Teams in
East and West Hawaii.
