EQUIPMENT (CAMERA, LAMINATOR, AND DIE CUTTER) FROM THE CHEVRON COMPANIES. WHEREAS, the Chevron Companies, whose Coordinator is Dave Young, has donated two sets of Keiki 1.D. equipment (camera, laminator i and die cutter) to the Hawaii Police Department; and WHEREAS, the retail value of the equipment is three thousand dollars ($3,000.00); and WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii Police Department is authorized to accept the donation of Keiki I.D. equipment from The ,Chevron Companies.
