Kohanaiki Beach Park Intersection

The council adopted Resolution No. 241 -09 on October 21, 2009, which among other things
asked the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation to review and consider modifying the
street access to the shoreline at Kohanaiki from right -in right -out only access to a full movement
intersection.
The attached resolution further notifies the State Department of Transportation of the hazardous
situation at the Kohanaiki Beach Park Intersection and requests mitigation, as there has not been
a response to the request included in Resolution No. 241 -09.
Please place on the appropriate agenda for the next Council Committees meeting scheduled for
March 16, 2010.
