Sako Deputy Director ("V 0 ,) en z) rn S The State of Hawai'i Department of Health's Maternal & Child Health Branch has authorized funding of $9,900 to the Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning project. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney participated in the development of the statewide Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Plan and is now receiving funding to build capacity and prepare Hawaii County for its implementation. These monies, derived from Federal funds, will support Area Strategic Work Groups sessions, capacity building workshops, and participation in the Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Implementation Committee and facilitator training on Oahu. Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Health. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the $9,900 to the Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning account.
