RESOLUTION CHANGING A COUNCIL AIDE(CA~III) POSITION. FROM FULLTIME TO .
HALFTIME AND CREATING A HALFTIME COUNCIL AIDE (CA-III) POSITION IN THE OFFICE
OF THE COUNTY CLERK.

WHEREAS, the Kona Council Office, a branch of thepfthe Office of the CouiltyClerk, needs to add
more flexibility in clerical work scheduling; and .
WHEREAS, to ,accommodate the desired. flexibility, the time element of an existing Council Aide
position (#J0035) must be reduced from fuIltime to halftime and a new halftime Council Aide
position (CA-III) must be created; and .
WHEREAS, the proposed personnel changes will not increase the Council's Salaries and Wages
account budget; and .,.. '.' .
WHEREAS, funds are available in the County Council-Services Regular Salaries and Wage
account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the time element for Council Aide (CA-III) position number J0035 be reduced from. fuIltime to
halftime and a new halftime Council Aide (CA-III) position be created. . .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds are available in the Regular Salaries and Wages
account of the County Clerk-Council Services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the
,Departments of the County Clerk, Finance, and Civil Service. .
