Subject: Request for Update from the Mayor's Energy Advisory Commission
l am requesting time on the Council's Committee agenda for an update from the Mayor's Energy Advisory
Commission. In particular, I would like to understand what initiatives the Council and the residents of this
island can look forward to relating to energy-saving efforts, whether in policy change, updates to codes and
regulations; or action steps derived from the County's Energy Sustainability Plan, especially in view of
these economic times.
Please refer this matter to the appropriate committee for the February 2, 2010, agenda.
