RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF 'HAWAII TO ENTER nJTO,~ AGREEMENT WITH THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PURsuANT TOHRS46-7, STATEWIDE KARIJUAUAERADICATIONGRANT.
, WHEREAS, the United States of Arnericathrough tbe.Stat,e, Department of
Attorney General Crime ,Prevention and Justice AssiStance Division, is desirous of
providing funding for expensesto,eonduct'missionsfor the elimination of controlled
substances;, and
WHEREAS. the Hawaii County Police Department is ready and willing
~o proceed withlts, obligatioJ'lsuqder th~;Sta"tewide Marijuana ,Eradication Grant;
WHEREAS,pursuant,to'Sections 46:"'76f the Hawali Revl.sed statutes, the
Federal government may enter into agreementswitb the Council" of the County of Hawaii
providing the expendlturesor receipt of ,funds or for other assiStance;

NOW, THEREFORE BE, IT RESOLVED BY THE'COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
