A RESOLUTION AMENDING THESALARY"ORDINANCE9~;'5fBY DELETING SECTION
. 8.02(c) MASS TRANSPORTATION AGENCY, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR.
WHEREAS, Section 76-77(1), Hawaii Revised Statutes, relating to civil
service and exemptions, provides for the exemption of positions in the office of
the mayor, but that these positions shall be included in the civil service position
classification plan; and
WHEREAS, classification action was taken to reallocate and to classify
the Mass Transit Assistant position to the County Transportation Specialist; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim
amendments to the Salary Ordinance to be made by resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Section 8.02(c) Mass Transportation Agency, Office of the Mayor
be deleted in its entirety, and that subsequent items in Section 8.02 Office of
the.Mayor be renumbered;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be trarismitted to
the Office of the Mayor, the Director of Finance, and the Personnel Director."
