1 am writing in support of Resolution No 308 -10 urging the DLNR to adopt rules presented;bv th Well' i
Hawaii Fisheries Council regarding Tropical Fish Collection.

As a recreational user of the Pebble Beach area I am definitely in support of the reef area of Pebble
Beach to be closed to aquarium collecting. Pebble Beach is a very special area which should he
protected and nurtured. It is visited and appreciated by divers and snorkelers not only who live nearby
but who travel long distances to enjoy its beauty and inhabitants.
1 also support and encourage the council to adopt.
The proposal to limit the number of licenses for fish collecting in West Hawaii.
The creation of a list of species that can be collected and a hag limit for the collection of certain species.
