1 am writing to ask that you vote "yes" to support the DAR Resolution 308 -10 that will go up for a vote at the
Council Meeting on March 16, 2010.
Kaohe Bay is one of the very few easily accessible beaches and reef systems between Keauhou and Puna It is
enjoyed by Kama'aina and visitors alike. Commercial collectors in our bay destroys not only the delicate balance
of the reef system but the serenity of the bay
After many of negotiations and compromises, there is a way to end the User Conflict between recreational users
of Ka'ohe Bay and commercial aquarium collectors: Please support the DAR Resolution 308 -10 that is being
presented for a vote on March 16
Sincerely,
Mikalee Shaffer
Hawaii County Resident
Comm. NQ. 7 3o.
