Subject: County Band
Please, please please rethink the decision to do away with the County Band. Each month when I attend their
concert I am amazed at how wonderful the Band truly is. Each month they play new selections. Where do they
find the time and dedication to produce such great music ?!!! And that's just it - - -- they are a totally dedicated and
professional group of musicians. With so many other things going by the wayside, please don't take the music
away also. We NEED this bit of culture in our lives. For an hour each month, I can sit back and let the cares of
the world disappear and just let the music wash over me. Not to mention all the other occasions when the Band
appears: each and every parade, Portuguese Day in the Park, Veteran's day etc, etc.
Find the money, I implore you.
