Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 137, reports as follows:
Bill No. 137, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 461,
dated September 27, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2000, is amended by adding the following projects:
PUBLIC WORKS
Mohouli Street Extension-Federal 110-399-5391.20-115 $6,313,100
Mohouli Street Extension -County 110-399-5391.21-115 980,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $6,313,100
General Obligation Bonds and/or Other Sources 980,000
This project will create a direct connection between Mohouli Street from Komohana Street to the
Kaumana/Ainako area.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 137 and
recommends it pass first reading.
