You have an institution that should live on. I am a visitor who has been coming to your island since the early 80s when you could go all over town and hear music. Much of the music came from the Bunny Brown family. As time goes by things have changed. We still need to encourage music in this town. May I suggest that one of the venues be at the old Wiamae Village. Fix up that old but beautiful sight and make it the attraction it was back then. I know the place needs a lot of work but with a few volunteers the county could restore this fine place. When the band is not playing on the band stand during the day light hours this would be a great place for the evening. The old restaurant is not in use now but I bet the property would be available for the county to take over or some private party to make it available for the band. In closing I encourage you to keep this band and institution alive! We have been enjoying the concerts at the band stand and look forward to the next one.
