Thank you so much for your support of the Hawaii County Band. I an so glad that you will
be bringing up the amendment to continue to fund the band. It is such an asset to the
community and a "living history ", if you will, as well as a cultural asset and educational
enrichment for Hilo's young musicians. I know that everyone who supports the band
appreciates your recognition of the importance that it plays in Hawaii's culture.
