Subject: Hawaii County Band
Dear Mayor Kenoi, Parks Director Fitzgerald and members of the Hawaii County Council,
You are respectfully urged to consider continued funding for the Hawaii County Band. This is a
challenging economic period, but please resist the temptation to pick on a soft target such as the county
band which is such a small part of our county budget.
Many people, locally, nationally and internationally, love and respect the rich musical traditions of
Hawaii. As our officials, please be mindful of this.
