Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 138, reports as follows:
Bill No. 138, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 462,
dated September 28, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-70, as amended, the Operating Budget
ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

As all RSVP directors aze required to attend the National Senior Service Corps Conference in
Orlando, Florida, a Notice of Grant Awazd (NGA) has been received from the Corporation for
National Service (CNS) for this one-time increase for travel expenses.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 138 and
recommends it pass first reading.
