Takaba Managing Director Walter K.M. Lau Deputy Managing Director C t ? T; it is my pleasure to nominate Leroy Victorine of Council District 2 to the Hawai'i County Police Commission. Mr. Victorine is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. He retired as Assistant Chief of Police with the Hawai'i Police Department in 1992. Thereafter, working at the Hilo Airport as Deputy Federal Security Director and at the State of Hawai'i Harbors Division as a Harbor Security Officer. Mr. Victorine is presently a trustee at Hilo Boarding School, and was a former member and president of the Hilo Boy's Club Board of Directors. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, Mr. Victorine will serve a term to end on December 31, 2014, replacing Anita Politano- Steckel whose term expired on December 31, 2009.
