A Resolution Recognizing the Need to Preserve Existing Green Waste Facilities
and Urging Consideration of Expansion of Green Waste Facilities to All Transfer
Stations Operated by the County
The attached resolution calls for the recognition of the need to maintain the County's current
green waste facilities and to expand the hours of operation at those facilities.
The resolution further urges the County to consider expanding green waste collection facilities to
those transfer stations that do not currently accept green waste.
Please place this resolution on the appropriate agenda for the next Council Committees meeting
scheduled for April 19, 2010.
