It is my pleasure to nominate Everette Souza of Council District 1 to the County of
Hawai'i Liquor Control Adjudication Board. Mr. Souza is a 63 -year resident of Hawai'i
who is self - employed as the owner of Mister Fixit. He retired from HELCO in 2003, after .
working there for 33 years as a foreman.
Mr. Souza recently served on the County of Hawai'i Liquor Commission. His term
expired on December 31; 2009. He was the past president of the Hamakua Lions Club
and a former leader with the 4 -H Livestock Club.
Mr. Souza states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term to expire on December 31, 2014, replacing Gary Yoshiyama whose term
expired on December 31, 2009.
