INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS
Re: Comm. No. 760/Bill 232
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred Bill 232,
reports as follows:
Bill 232, transmitted by Director of Public Works Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication No. 760,
dated March 16, 2010, requests to amend the Hawai`i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 7, Division 2,
Section 24 -149, by deleting item (D) and adding (1) Ten miles per hour below the posted speed limit
within construction zones.
There were no public testifiers and no discussion.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill 232 and recommends passage at first reading.
