Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Searle Grace of Council District 3 to the Hawai'i County
Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission.
Mr. Grace is a 57 -year resident of Hawaii. He is currently self - employed with D &S
Enterprises. From 2002 to 2006, he was a realtor at Lentz Real Estate Inc., and then at
T &C Realty. Prior to that, he was a fire fighter with the Honolulu Fire Department.
Mr. Grace is a member of the County of Hawai'i Salary Commission. He states that he
is a Democrat. If confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2013,
replacing Ruth Walker, whose term expired on December 31, 2008.
