(Note: Ms. Ford voted “kanalua” twice. Mr. Yagong recused himself from voting as his wife is related to Mr. Watanabe.) Comm. 797: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-8-33 (CITY OF HILO ZONE MAP), (Bill 241) ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION), BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL – 15,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-15) TO SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL – 10,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-10) AT WAIĀKEA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY: 2-4-021:031 (Applicant: Don C. and Donna D. PC-26 Page 3 May 4, 2010 Comm. 798: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-8-33 (CITY OF HILO ZONE MAP), (Bill 242) ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION), BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM PROJECT DISTRICT (UNIVERSITY TERRACE) TO PROJECT DISTRICT (WAILANI DEVELOPMENT) AT PONAHAWAI, SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY: 2-3-037:001, 2-3-044:019, AND 2-3-049:053 (Applicant: Wailani Development, LLC) (Area: 171.5 acres); and Recommends passage of Bill 242 on first reading.
