Honorable J Yoshimoto and
Members of the Hawai`i County Council
25 Aupuni Street
Hilo, Hawai`i 96720
Subject:
Enclosed is an ordinance that would rename the Mass Transportation Agency to reflect
the assumption of the County's Automotive Division, currently held within the
Department of Public Works. The ordinance also revises relevant sections of the Hawaii
County Code to transfer the duties and responsibilities of the Automotive Division from
Public Works to the Transportation Agency.
I would appreciate this ordinance being waived from the Public Works Committee to the
full Council meeting scheduled for May 19, 2010.
Please call me at extension 8343 if there are any questions.
Sincer
Thomas Brown
