Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 145, reports as follows:
Bill No. 145, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 482,
dated October 7, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2000, by adding the following project(s):
Kapiolani Street and Ululani Street Reconstruction 110-399-5391.22-] 15
Funds for this project(s) shall be provided from:
2236.02 Unallotted Appropriation Fuel Tax Increase 94-96 Account of the Capital Projects
Fund
This Engineering Division Project will improve roadway safety; replace cracked, damaged and
sliding asphalt concrete pavements; provide and improve accessibility for the disabled and
elderly persons; and improve the drainage situation in the area.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 145 and
recommends it pass first reading.
