as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

The goal of this project is to involve, motivate, and empower our widespread communities to
mitigate the effects of natural disasters before they occur.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 146 and
recommends it pass first reading.
