Please consider this a support letter for the specific limitations and protection: 7 itlined in Bills
#264 land #265 to prevent any semblance of conflict of interest and financial es for
members of our County Government.
At this point, in an atmosphere of wariness regarding government ethics in to.: ry instances,
any precautions that can be incorporated into our local governmental system j ? -ill protect and
amplify a sense of trust by the electorate would be valuable. These bills coal c : case credibility
for current and future office holders, discourage lax practices re donations, n.n - courage a
