Bill No. 150, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 159-99, by Finance Director Harry
Takahashi, via Communication No. 500, dated October 18, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-7Q
as amended, the Operating Budget ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

The State Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office is providing funds for
Police Department personnel to attend the Life Savers Conference and to conduct DUI
roadblocks in the County of Hawaii.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 150, and
recommends it pass first reading.
