The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the revenue account(s) and expenditure
account(s) are reflected below:

Below for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 211, Draft 3, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the Fire Protection — S &W,
Overtime S &W by $184,640 and increase the Ocean Safety S &W by $123,725, W. HI Ocean
Safety S &W by $26,816, Retirement Benefits by $22,582, and Employer FICA by $11,517. The
appropriation will delete furloughs and keep Ocean Safety officers on the beach.
