Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 151, reports as follows:
Bill No. 151, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 160-99, by Finance Director Harry
Takahashi, via Communication No. 501, dated October 18, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-70,
as amended, the Operating Budget ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

010-201-5219.29 Seatbelt Enforcement General $3,600
The State Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office is providing funds for
Police Department personnel to attend training sessions and conduct seatbelt roadblocks in the
County of Hawaii.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 151, and
recommends it pass first reading.
