Opposing the Church Row Gas Station in Waimea
Tuesday, October 31, 2000

Re: County Council Hearing on Resolution Opposing Church Row Gas Station
Hearing Date: November 2, 2000 Time: 9:00 a.m.
This testimony is offered in support of the resolution opposing'the Church Row
Gas Station. By now it should be clear that the Waimea community is united in
its opposition to the development of a gas station or fast food establishments
on this site. These are uses that are incompatible with the land use in the
neighborhood and would be unnecessarily intrusive in this tranquil area.
Please listen to the community and pass this resolution. Thank you for this
opportunity to testify.
