,Dear Chairman Arakaki:
• The.churches grouped along Church Row in Waimea reflect more than a peaceful, graceful "
: Setting. They represent the history of our community, a history of faith and belief.
It is a'history better told bystanding on the grassy lawns being blown by the winds arid mists. It
is a !lister)/ of people of courage, farriers, paniolo, soldiers; workers, families', people of long
ago, ancestors.
It is a history'and'a setting that we treasure and we want our children and grandchildren to.be
able to experience for :niany years to'come:
1 ask that you and your fellow Council Members vote to preserve our'history and this historic
area byadopting the RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE PROPOSED GAS STATION /CON-
VENIENCE STORE /CAR WASH AND /OR FAST FOOD DEVELOPMENT'ON "CHURCH .
ROW" IN WAIMEA, HAWAII.
