As a Waimea resident from 1978 and busines owner, I wish to express
my complete opposition to theproposed Gas Station developement at Church
Row.
Please do not allow the destruction ofone ofthe most culturally
cherished, scenic open spaces that make Waimea the wonderful community
that is is.
Island location after location have been saidto overdevelope
jepradizing the nature and spirit of Hawaii for our tax paying citizens
and economic tourism base. Please let us keep our community in tact.
Much work has gone into maintaining our community and planning for
its futureso future generations can enjoy ourhistory and beauty.
This plan fordevelopement can surely go somewhere else.
I an proud of ourcommunities united effort to
stand against this devlopement. I standwith them 100 % andonly wish I
too could appear in person before you I am also proud of the win win
efforts mad on behalf of our community to help the proposed developers.
Please save ourcommunity fom this short sighted blight that would
forever disfigure this beautiful location.
