The sprayers were part of the USDA WS community loan sprayer program which was discontinued in April 2009 due to lack of funding. USDA WS is transferring the sprayers - to the County to continue the loan sprayer program. The sprayers are staged around the island with community cooperators who maintain the sprayers and loan them to interested community members for coqui frog control. In the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Finance Committee for placement on its future agenda.
