Re: Proposed Amendment To Bill 184, Draft 2, Amending Section 25 -8 -33 (City Of Hilo
Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2005 Edition), By Changing the District Classification From Single - Family
Residential — 7,500 Square Feet (RS -7.5) and Multiple - Family Residential — 1,000
Square Feet (RM -1) to Multiple - Family Residential — 1,500 Square Feet (RM -1.5) t

Attached please find proposed amendments to Conditions "F" and "G" of Bill 184, Draft 2,
regarding Final Subdivision Approval. These conditions currently contain incorrect references to
Condition "C ". The proposed amendments correctly reflect reference to Condition "D" regarding
Final Subdivision Approval. The proposed amendments are as follows:
"F. The applicant shall grant drainage easement(s) through the subject properties to the
County of Hawaii. The easement(s) shall be granted prior to Final Subdivision
Approval for the lot consolidation described in Condition [G] D and shall meet with
the approval of the Department of Public Works."
"G. The applicant shall subdivide and dedicate to the County a ten (10) -foot wide future
road widening strip along the entire Kapi'olani Street frontage of Parcel 53, prior to
Final Subdivision Approval for the lot consolidation described in Condition [G] D.
Please note that these amendments are for clarification purposes only, and will not cause any
renumbering. Therefore, to avoid waste, I am only attaching a clean copy of the amendments,
rather than the bill in its entirety.
