Resolution 3354 -10
Testimony in Opposition to the Cultivation and Distribution of Cannabis Sativa L
and it's by products.
I oppose this resolution because it is contrary to Federal and State law on the
use of marijuana and its potential negative effects on our community would
outweigh any potential benefits.
Cannabis Sativa, L (marijuana, hemp) is illegal under Federal law. It is also
illegal under State law.
Hawaii has also shown a high rate of admissions to State funded treatment
facilities for adolescents addicted to marijuana and alcohol.
