Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 523, reports as follows:
Communication No. 523, transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated October 25, 1999,
nominates Mr. Charles H. Cope to the Hawaii County Fire Board of Appeals.
Mr. Charles Cope of Kona has been employed as a Fire Rescue Specialist with the Hawaii
County Fire Department since 1981. He is a member of the Hawaii Fire Fighters' Association,
the Kona Orchid Society and serves as an ASYO coach. Of no political party affiliation, Mr.
Cope will serve a term to end December 31, 2003.
Your Committee on Finance recommends the confirmation of Mr. Charles H. Cope to the
Hawaii County Fire Board of Appeals.
