Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Albert Kualii of Council District 5 to the County of Hawaii
Tax Board of Review. Mr. Kualii is a 26 -year resident of Hawai'i. He retired as the
Consignment Auditor with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1991.
Mr. Kualii's community service includes membership with the Nanawale Community
Association's Board of Directors, and NCA Neighborhood Watch. He also volunteers
his time with the County of Hawai`i's Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Mr. Kualii states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term to end on December 31, 2015, replacing Mr. Ernest Matsumura, whose
term expired on December 31, 2009.
