To the County Council,
I'm wrong to ask you not to raise the property taxes especially in this Slow economic times.
We are barely getting by, and as for investment property, it is our rental property, and we will
be forced to raise the rents. It then affects the working people who's jobs are hard to come by.
Hawaii is based on tourism, and construction. This has been slow.
We are not the rich people like Hualalai four seasons, or Kukio. We work everyday and bills
are not getting lower. Insurance for Hurricane and Flood are expensive, more than fire insurance.
It will also affect the real estate market if they are aware they get taxed more because its their
second home, or zoned Ag.
Its too bad the meeting is not being held in Kona. So, I hope you will get this message.
Sincerely,
Simmy McMichaej
