When the real property tax certified values were presented to the Finance Committee, I received a
request to provide you with a comparison of the new certified values to the prior year certified values
that were used for this year's tax revenue. The attached worksheet shows land and building values and
the percentage change. It also shows the change in parcel count for each class, which is important as it
is one component in the change in values.
