Subject: Please keep the Hawaii County Band
Dear County Council Members,
I am writing in support of the Hawaii County Band. Over the years, the band has provided countless
hours of enjoyment to our island's citizens, from keiki to kupuna.
I personally would rather pay a bit more in taxes and keep this cultural institution alive than see it be cut
due to temporary budget shortfalls. I urge you NOT to sacrifice this long- standing group to the
expediencies of the moment.
Please help keep the arts alive!
