Thank you very much. Saerri Card em (808) 982-7202 5/18/2010 ula lifiY 18 R!'l 7 ; ' OO Page 1 of 1 PlCoui,cn I was unable to attend the public hearing for the testimony regarding the increase in property taxes. I heard from a friend that heard it on the radio that it was at 6 p.m. Monday evening. I dashed down to Hilo, and was unable to find the location. Perhaps she heard wrong. In any case, I would like to offer the following suggestion. I believe the only property taxes which should be increased are those owned by absentee celebrity owners. These properties are definitely more valuable. I believe a similar bill was introduced and passed in Honolulu. I would highly recommend that you check into this option as a way to increase revenue. I absolutely do not wish to have my property taxes increased. I live in Orchidland, and already have a long list of reasons why. Feel free to contact me, and you can speak with my neighbors if you want more reasons. coy.. $1 7 Ref. To, r l Ref. Urge, JJJ' 0 7 2010 Murashige, Laura RE, ,3,i- Jo /(i trio.
