Subject: Budget
It is unconscionable that with the budget challenges faced by the county and the proposed
massive tax rate hike hitting the west side of the island more than the east side that
there is no public hearing on the west side of the island. The council is failing in its
duty to represent the citizens. Absent a fair opportunity for all citizens the council
should reject the mayor's budget proposal.
