Subject: Transmitting Resolution No. 361 -10, Draft 2
Please find attached Resolution No. 361 -10, Draft 2.
Resolution No. 361 -10 was verbally amended by the Council during the July 8, 2010, Council
meeting, delete wording in the 3 1-d WHEREAS clause to read as follows (deleted material is
bracketed and stricken through):
"WHEREAS, the County administration wishes to enter into an eight (8) year lease, with
year to year options after that, with Karen A. Kobayashi, Trustee, for the use of the parcels
identified as Tax Map Keys: (3)7 -6- 015:012 and 013, in Holualoa 1st, North Kona, for use as a
public parking lot and park improvement areas, at a cost [per parcel] of $500.00 per month, for a
total cost of $6,000.00 per year, plus the exception of the parcels' real property taxes under
Section 19 -84 of the Hawai`i County Code as property leased to the County of Hawai`i."
