Dear Council member, �.
Please support Bill 263, for a Charter Amendment to implement the 2% land fund.
The voters of Hawaii County clearly expressed our support of this initiative in direct voting. We expect
the Council to support the will of the people, so clearly and democratically expressed. The most
important open spaces and natural habitats deserve protection, even in the most economically
challenging times.
Protection of our aina will not wait, and deserves the highest priority.
Mahalo to Mr. Hoffman, and others who support this, for respecting the will of the voters.
