Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Bill 260, reports as follows:
Bill 260, transmitted via Communiction No. 838 on June 7, 2010, from Deputy Corporation
Counsel Gerald Takase, further amending ordinance no. 08 -64, as amended by ordinance
No. 09 -13, Ordinance No. 09 -102 and Ordinance No. 10 -15, relating to extending public use of
the Haleki`i Street extension (deletes the sunset date and the one -way restriction, and clarifies
that the extension will continue to be available for emergency use during the hours it is closed
for pubic use).
This Bill was discussed in conjunction with Resolution 351 -10: see PWIRC Report No. 80.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accordance with the
purpose and intent of Bill 260, and recommends its passage at first reading.
