Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 176, reports as follows:
Bill No. 176, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 554,
dated November 17, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-7Q, as amended, the Operating I3udget,
ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

To:
010-411-54] 1.90 Home Delivered Meals -Private General $20,000
These funds will provide 2,200 ethnic meals for 20 at-risk, native, homebound seniors in rural
areas of the Big Island.
For informational purposes, Ms. Jacobson voted Kanalua then no. and Mr. Tyler voted Kanalua
twice.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 176, and
recommends it pass first reading.
