This change would affect all properties with a market value greater than $500, approximately 6,000 properties, and result in increased tax revenue of approximately $270,000.) These funds are needed to address community safety concerns with the anticipated increased traffic on Ali‘i Drive and Haleki‘i Street when the Māmalahoa Bypass is opened.) This project to extend Kapiolani Street from Mohouli Street to Lanikaula Street is to enhance circulation between UH Hilo and its vicinity and Downtown Hilo.) From Finance Director Nancy E.
