Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 180, reports as follows:
Bill No. 180, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 570,
dated November 29, 1999, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital budget, ending
June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:
POLICE DEPARTMEN'T':
Public Safety Complex, Cellblock Expansion 110-299-5292.20-115 $2,152,000
Funds for this project(s) shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $800,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
The original appropriation of $1,352,000 is being increased by $800,000 to total $2,152,000.
The total project cost is now $3,972,429.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. l 80, and
recommends it pass first reading.
