Re: Resolution for multi -year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year
for a new copy machine lease for the Department of Public Works Administration Office.
Their current copy machine is 8 years old and replacement parts are difficult to locate.
The estimated annual cost for this copier will be $7,600 which will be much Tess than
what is currently being paid.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public
Works.

A. REQUEST:
Resolution to allow the department to enter into a multi -year lease for a copier for the Department of Public
Works Administration Office.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Department's current copier is 8 years old. The replacement parts are difficult to locate as the copier
has become obsolete. An evaluation of a lease agreement has provided us information that a lease is more
cost efficient (less maintenance and overage fees). The anticipated annual cost is $7,600.00.
