My Name is Collin J. Kaholo Ex- Chairman for the North Kohala 2010 Community Reunion held on the first week -end in July 2010. As a life long Resident. From the North Kohala Community. I am Soliciting Your Vote in Support of Res: 368- 10. On behalf of the Student from the North Kohala Middle School. Their Accomplishment, as set -forth by the Federal Mandate. (No Child left Behind ) information I received, Students at Kohala Middle School. Have reach and Past all the Requirement as Mandated by the Federal Government. These Students with the furlough in place. Reach their Goals. Now the state set the Agenda to Close a School, not by status... But by the Agenda set forth. For now it is Table!!! been and Election Year... It will come back on the Table again.. After the Election is over, and It maybe in you District or Mine. Something to think about!!!!! Date, JUL 2 1 201Q 7/19/2010 Testimony of a Kohala Middle School teacher in regard to County of Hawaii Resolution number 368 10, "A resolution urging the State Department of Education to reconsider the consolidation of the Kohala Complex Schools ". As the only remaining faculty member of the original group I encourage your actions to keep the Middle School a separate campus and entity. It took years of hard work to make this school a reality -let's not regress. Thanks again to the Hawaii County Council for your consideration of this matter.
