Subject: Possible Hawaiian Species Fish Ban.
Hello,
I am writing you today to ask that you not place Hawaiian species on a ban. I personally
have seen a very high success rate with many Hawaiian fish in the industry and I have not
seen a decline in availability of the resource so I have no reason to believe that the
environment is at jeopardy. It would be a devastating blow to the industry If a Ban on
Hawaiian species was to happen.
Believe me If there was any reason to believe that Hawaiian species were in jeopardy then
I would be the first to say let us correct the issue.
According to scientific data that I have been reading there has been a rise in all
Hawaiian species for the last 10 years and I trust the scientific data that has been taken
over the last 10 years to be correct and believe that the current management program in
place is working.
Please seek out the scientific data that supports my claims and let us all continue to
enjoy all Hawaiian species responsibly.
